Hey Friends!

Just dropping another quick post about another beautiful couple (Alison + Andrew) who I had the the honor of meeting last month. They graciously invited me to be a part of their sweet, joyful and intimate wedding day celebration at a family member’s gorgeous home. Their day was filled with lots of laughter, emotion and love. Here is a small blurb about their love story and highlights from their beautiful day. Those golden hour photos were my absolute favorite part! Just look at how stunning Alison + Andrew looked bathed in all of that beautiful light! I absolutely loved this day + won’t forget it! I hope to be invited to another intimate wedding at Round Top, New York, very soon.

Words from the couple..

“We met in high school band class, both playing clarinet. The summer before senior year, we became friends and it took off. We went to college together at Rutgers University, and when Alison got into veterinary school at Tufts, we moved up to Massachusetts from New Jersey and have been living here for nearly four years now. We have grown up together from starry-eyed lovestruck teenagers to a loving and supportive partnership.”

“We want to look back on how happy we were that day. Our love story is like a lock clicking into place or two puzzle pieces fitting together. We got together and it has made sense and been right ever since. Oh wait, better metaphor… you know when two cats nap together and they’re nestled like yin and yang?”

It is always such an honor to be chosen to capture such special moments. I absolutely loved every moment of this day! Every wedding, big or small, is beautiful, fun and unique, but there is just something so special about an intimate wedding in a beautiful backyard. It really gives me a chance to capture so many sweet and in-between moments. I got to do that at this wedding and it was such a rewarding experience!
